Fresh Start Clean and Sober Living, LLC ("Fresh Start," "we," "our," or "us") provides the Fresh Start Living app for use by approved staff and adult clients of our recovery housing and support program. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the app, how we use it, and how we protect it.
Information we may collect
- Account information such as usernames, names, and approval status.
- Profile details such as birthdate, house placement, and program status.
- Appointments, care team details, checklist progress, and survey responses.
- Messages between clients and staff.
- Uploaded files such as requested documents or attendance proof.
- Recovery support information, including clean date and related notes.
- Technical information needed to keep the app working, such as sign-in state and notification preferences.
How we use information
- To provide the Fresh Start Living app and its features.
- To approve accounts and connect users to the correct Fresh Start profile.
- To help staff support clients with appointments, documents, surveys, and follow-up items.
- To send reminders and in-app notices related to checklist completion, account approval, and program follow-up.

How information is stored
Fresh Start Living uses secure third-party infrastructure to help store account and app data, including Firebase services for authentication, database storage, and file storage. Some information may also remain on a user's device to support app sessions and local functionality.
How information is shared
We do not sell personal information. Information in the app is shared only as needed within Fresh Start Living's approved staff and client workflows, or with service providers that support the operation of the app. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect safety, rights, or security.
Third-party links
The app may include links that open external recovery resources, meeting schedules, or official reading pages. Once a user leaves the app and opens an outside website, that third party's own terms and privacy practices apply.
Adults only
Fresh Start Living is intended for adults age 18 and older who are part of the Fresh Start program. It is not designed for use by children.
Your choices
Users may contact Fresh Start staff to request help with account access, profile corrections, or other questions about information stored in the app. Users may also manage certain notification settings from within the app.
